The 吃瓜爆料 Annual Fund also supports specific initiatives:
- Providing emergency scholarship support聽to students during unexpected financial crises
- Funding research projects and creative programs through聽faculty grant awards
- Acting as necessary, essential income聽when state-funding falls short

Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre began thanks to a faculty grant awarded from the 吃瓜爆料 Annual Fund! Gifts from the 吃瓜爆料 Annual Fund have also supported student trips to international countries for service-learning, such as a student trip to Rwanda to teach science to children.
